Legend Homes announced today the launch of its refreshed customer referral program, Referral Rewards. The program uses a two-tier system to reward both referring homeowners and referred homebuyers.
“We reimagined our customer referral program after carefully evaluating what homebuyers need when they begin the process,” Legend Homes president Tanya Rizzo says. “At the same time, we felt as though our referring homeowners deserved to be rewarded for their time and effort. The new Referral Rewards Program does just that, and we’re excited to roll it out to our customers.”
Referring homeowners will receive a $50 Amazon gift card and entry into an annual drawing in each market for the chance to win a virtual design consultation for a room of their choice. Referred individuals can receive $1,000 in closing costs or options if they purchase a new Legend home. Referrals can be submitted by visiting the Legend Homes website.
The virtual redesign is a new offering previously unavailable in past iterations of the Legend Homes customer referral program. Referring customers who win the virtual redesign prize will work with New Edge Design Studio to reimagine a room in their home, including furnishings, arrangements, colors, and more.
The introduction of this refreshed incentive is designed to reward past Legend Homes customers while helping new homebuyers tackle the process knowing they have access to $1,000 in closing costs or options on a new home. This additional flexibility comes as homebuying costs continue to rise, with the median list price of an average home in May 2024 ($444,000) more than $75,000 higher than a median income household can afford.
With that said, recent reporting from the Houston Business Journal indicates the metropolitan area leads the nation in single-family building permits since the pandemic. Legend’s rollout of its refreshed Referral Rewards program aligns with this trend.
“Our goal is to help more customers find ways to reach their goal of homeownership,” Rizzo says. “The Referral Rewards program is just another tool that can help buyers get across the finish line — and award our past customers for their recommendations.”
